🌱✨ Prepare for a dynamic and enlightening learning experience as we gather on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 in Vienna (Austria) before the CND, for a day dedicated to exploring the rich history and future of the United Nations global grassroots cannabis civil society movements.

Session 1: UN & Advocacy History

Immerse yourself in captivating stories and delve into the fascinating history of this vibrant advocacy movement. From its humble beginnings to its impactful milestones, be inspired by the tales of resilience, advocacy, and empowerment that have shaped the cannabis community worldwide. This session will also include a international cannabis law 101 section, and discuss the history of the UN treaty and agency systems on drugs, since 1961.

Session 2: Legacy & Biopiracy

We'll confront the pressing issues of legacy cannabis communities (small farmers, local communities & indigenous peoples) and the multifaceted risks of biopiracy, shining a spotlight on the intricate interplay between cannabis, human rights, intellectual property, historical justice, global solidarity, and both the current harms of prohibition and the future risks of prohibitionesque regulations that result in excluding our communities from the legal environment and from our cultures.
